    Welcome to Sunday morning, Delaware.

What does the weather have in store for us today? Looks like 89 degree high and lots of sunshine in the Wilmington region. Headed to the beaches? Don’t go without reading this.

Today is National Ice Cream Day. Indulge if that’s your thing. (I love sweet corn ice cream and also fresh peach ice cream and am on a quest every summer to find both.) Find free ice cream, petting zoos and parties in Delaware Sunday on National Ice Cream Day. Lap it up!

We took a spin through the Glasgow Farmers Market on Thursday. Check out the market vibe.

Can the Phillies redeem themselves? They play the Pirates again at 1:35 p.m.

Headed to the State Fair? Here are some stories and photo galleries to inspire your trip ... Be sure to keep checking back for updates, and plenty of photos from the fairgrounds:

And now more local news …

Do you make enough money to rent in Delaware? This report says 30% of workers don't

If you want to comfortably afford a one-bedroom apartment in Delaware, you will need to make at least $52,000 per year, reports Amanda Fries.

That is according to the latest report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, which breaks down how much someone needs to make annually to afford a studio, one-bedroom, and all the way up to four-bedroom housing in the First State, Amanda writes.

“The ‘Out of Reach’ report maps out by ZIP code across all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C., the hourly wage someone would need to afford a one- or two-bedroom apartment. The report also provides data on median wages for each state’s most common occupations, and the total number of people employed in those jobs,’’ she writes.
