    Devastating Winter Garden Fire: Multiple Units on Scene, Injuries Reported

    Winter Garden, FL — According to the Orange County Fire Rescue, a large structure fire erupted this afternoon at 12423 Marshall Farms Rd, near the intersection of Marshall Farms Rd. and Windermere Rd. The blaze has drawn a significant response from multiple emergency units. Firefighters from Orange County Fire Rescue, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, and Ocoee Fire Rescue are currently on scene battling the flames.

    The multi-alarm fire has prompted the dispatch of numerous units, including B7, B24, B25, CPT2, E24, E25, MCU1, Q30, R34, REHAB1, TA28, TA34, TW22, CPT1, E39, R24, R42, TA20, TA39, TA77, and R37. The situation remains critical as crews work tirelessly to contain the fire and prevent further damage.

    Initial reports from Orange County Fire Rescue confirm that two individuals have sustained burn injuries and have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. In addition to human casualties, a therapy dog on the premises has reportedly suffered smoke inhalation. The dog's condition is currently unknown as emergency personnel continue to provide assistance.

    Orange County Fire Rescue have called in the Fire Marshall to investigate the cause of the fire, which remains undetermined at this time. The Red Cross has also been dispatched to provide support to those affected by the blaze. Furthermore, Duke Energy has been alerted and is on the scene to address any potential electrical hazards and ensure the safety of first responders and nearby residents.

    Over 50% of the structure has been consumed by flames, highlighting the severity of the incident. Firefighters are working diligently to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings and properties.
