‘Don’t Know What The Hell It Is!’ Trump Pleads Ignorance On ‘Severe Right’ Project 2025: ‘Don’t Know Anything About It!

Former President Donald Trump claimed during a Saturday rally that he does not know what Project 2025 is, but labeled it “far-right” and “extreme” as he distanced himself from it and its authors.

The GOP presidential nominee spoke to supporters at a Michigan MAGA rally on Saturday with running mate Sen. JD Vance , where he brought up the topic of the Project 2025, with purports to be a “governing agenda” to “pave the way for an effective conservative administration. The documents it entails were created by individuals and various groups on the right, including a number of former Trump White House officials whom Democrats say are seeking to consolidate executive power to Trump, should he win.

Previously, Trump’s campaign has disavowed the initiative and claimed to have no part in the proposed policy outlines or goals, which include reclassifying tens of thousands of federal civil service workers as political appointees.

Trump told his supporters at his rally that he does not “know what the hell” Project 2025 is. He referred to it as being from the “severe right” and called some of what is proposed “seriously extreme.”

He also defended himself against the charges of extremism or that he is a “threat to Democracy” during the remarks, saying “ I took a bullet for democracy !”

Some on the right, severe right, came up with this Project 25 and I don’t even know. I mean, some of them I know who they are, but they’re very very conservative. Just like you have this sort of the opposite of the radical left. Okay? You have the radical left and you have the radical right, and they come up with this. I don’t know what the hell it is. It’s Project 25. He’s involved in Project 25. And then they read some of the things that they are extreme, that seriously extreme. But I don’t know anything about it. I don’t want to know anything about it.
