Brazilian singer Ayres Sasaki tragically lost his life after being electrocuted during a live performance. The 35-year-old artist reportedly suffered a fatal electric shock when a drenched fan embraced him on stage, causing a nearby cable to deliver a lethal jolt. Sasaki was performing at a hotel in Salinopolis, Brazil, and died instantly following the incident, according to reports.

The peculiar circumstances surrounding his sudden death are currently under investigation by Brazil's Civil Police. It remains a mystery why the fan was wet when he climbed onto the stage. The singer's Aunt, Rita Matos, expressed her bewilderment over the unfolding events.

Known for his unmatched singing and guitar-playing skills in Belem, a northern city in Brazil, Ayres leaves behind his wife, Mariana, to whom he had been married for almost a year.

Rita shared with local media: "What we know is that his show was scheduled for a specific time and was moved up, but we are contacting people who were with him at the moment to understand how everything happened. We will gather all the information in a statement that we will release to the press."

His impressive reputation and the title "king of encores" were earned through relentless performances that would often last up to 12 hours straight. Adriano Freitas, another singer and close friend of Ayres, fondly remembers him: "We were friends in daily life, beyond music. A super charismatic guy, his talent was incredible. He was the best singer and guitarist in Belem. A great friend, very family-oriented, attentive to his friendships, and to those who appreciated his work."

Comedian Natto Almeida, a close friend, remarked: "What will definitely stand out about Sasaki is his good heart, very polite. I think this will be the lasting mark he leaves behind."

The Solar Hotel, the venue of the ill-fated concert, released a statement as well. "We are fully dedicated to providing support to his family and taking the necessary measures. We reaffirm our commitment to fully cooperating with the competent authorities for the proper clarification of the events."
