Afternoon storms for the next two days - Jacob

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• Scattered storms Monday evening and Tuesday afternoon

• Drying out by mid to late week

• Heating up this weekend

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS : A few showers and thunderstorms will develop and then fizzle this evening, with temperatures near 80 degrees. Skies will clear out overnight with temperatures dropping into the mid 60s. Some patchy fog is possible. Scattered storms re-develop ahead of a cold front Tuesday afternoon and evening, with high temperatures near 80 degrees.

EXTENDED FORECAST : We should remain dry Wednesday through at least Saturday of this upcoming weekend. Temperatures remain seasonal throughout all of this week before temperatures climb into the upper 80s Sunday through the middle of next week. With the return of warmer temperatures and humidity, storm chances will return by Sunday, lasting into the early part of next week. Additionally, due to wildfires out west and smoke being caught in the jet stream, our skies across southern Wisconsin will remain hazy over the next few days.
