Organizing your home is something you have to do in order to achieve a clutter-free mind and boost your overall happiness within your living space. And when you do that organizing with aesthetically-pleasing items throughout your home, it makes it even better. Who doesn’t want to look at gorgeous canisters or chic organizer boxes? Well, in Aldi ’s upcoming Aldi Finds , they’re releasing apothecary jars in various sizes that are useful yet stylish. Plus they look a lot like Pottery Barn and Create & Barrel styles that are up to six times the price.

From July 24 through July 30, Aldi is selling Huntington Home Apothecary Jars that are great for the bathroom, bedroom and laundry room, among other places. They come in three sizes and they’re all $6.99 according to Aldi’s site. The small measures 3.45 inches in diameter and 5.15 inches tall, the medium measures 4.6 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches tall, and the large also measures 4.6 inches in diameter and then 8.75 inches tall.

They’re all a cylindrical shape that is slightly smaller on the bottom (at least based on the photo) and they have a lid with a knob handle to easily get to the contents inside. They’re clear and “provide versatile storage” for keeping things like “cotton balls, cosmetics and other daily essential items organized.” It is important to note that these apothecary jars are “made of high quality plastic,” which explains why they’re so affordable.

    Pottery Barn

So while they still seem like they’re able to withstand whatever you use them for, they’re made with hard plastic and not glass like Pottery Barn’s Classic Glass Canisters . Up top, we mentioned that the two are pretty similar in looks. Pottery Barn’s canisters have a lid that stick out more, kind of like a mushroom, and they don’t taper. But in terms of purpose and first looks, they’re similar to Aldi’s. Of course, these glass canisters are more expensive too, starting at $19.50 for a small canister (4 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall) and goes up to $44.50 for the extra-large canister (8.5 inches in diameter and 13 inches tall).

Set of 3 Glass Canisters , $71 at Crate & Barrel

    Crate & Barrel

We also mentioned above that Aldi’s jars are similar to Crate & Barrel’s Set of 3 Glass Canisters , which are $71 for all three. These are a lot closer to Aldi’s apothecary jars in terms of looks, with a straight cylindrical body and lid with a knob handle. These are glass, so they’re a bit better quality than Aldi’s, but they are the same sizes. The small is 3.5 inches in diameter and 5.6 inches tall, the large is 4.5 inches in diameter and 7 inches tall and the extra-large is 5 inches in diameter and 8.75 inches tall.

These types of jars or canisters are truly so good for housing Q-tips, cotton pads, cotton balls or anything else you can think of that doesn’t need an airtight container. They’re also great decorative pieces because of how clear they are. So if you want to save some money for a similarly classy look, Huntington Home Apothecary Jars are worth checking out.
