    Road closure coming up in Stevens Township

    STEVENS TOWNSHIP, Pa. ( WETM ) — A road in Bradford County will close for two weeks during roadwork.

    Leisure Lake Road in Stevens Township will be closed between Route 706 and Forker Road (T-644) between Monday, July 22, and Friday, Aug. 2, so a PennDOT maintenance crew can replace deteriorating pipes. The road will only be closed while crews are working, and work will be performed during daylight hours.

    PennDOT reminds drivers to use Route 6 detour ahead of Troy Fair

    A detour using Route 706 and Herrickville Road (Route 1017) will be in place while the road is closed.

    PennDOT is advising motorists who need to travel through this area during the roadwork project to be alert, slow down, drive with caution, and be prepared for delays in travel.
