15 Celebs Who Are Dating Or Married To Olympic Athletes

Plenty of Olympic athletes become celebrities in their own right, so it's no surprise they might catch the eye of a fellow famous person.

Here are 15 current and former Olympians who are in relationships with celebrities:

1. Australian swimmer Emma McKeon — whose 11 medals make her Australia's most decorated Olympian — has been dating Cody Simpson since 2022.

Cody also competed at the Australian swimming Olympic trials but didn't qualify.

2. American basketball player Dwyane Wade married Gabrielle Union in 2014.

They first met when they co-hosted a Super Bowl party in 2007, but they kept to opposite sides of the room with their own friends. However, after Gabrielle went through a breakup , she decided to give Dwyane a chance.

3. American snowboarder Shaun White has been in a relationship with Nina Dobrev since 2020.

They first met in 2019 when they both presented at the same event. Afterward, they went to dinner together. Shaun didn't realize Nina was also famous until the restaurant staff asked to take a picture with her.

4. Dutch speed skater Jutta Leerdam and influencer/boxer Jake Paul went Instagram official in 2023.

They reportedly met via Instagram.

5. As of 2024, South Korean skeleton racer Yun Sung-bin has reportedly been in a relationship with TWICE member Jihyo for more than a year.

6. American gymnast Simone Biles married NFL player Jonathan Owens in 2023.

When they matched on Raya, Jonathan didn't know who Simone was. She sent the first message.

7. British diver Tom Daley married screenwriter/director/producer Dustin Lance Black in 2017.

They met at a 2013 dinner party in LA that one of Tom's friends set up to celebrate his Kids' Choice Award win. At the time, Tom didn't know who Dustin was, but as Dustin was leaving, Tom gave him his number.

8. Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka has been in a relationship with rapper Cordae since 2019.

They met at an LA Clippers game when they were both sitting in the nosebleeds. Cordae didn't know who Naomi was at first because he didn't watch tennis.

9. Russian tennis player Anna Kournikova has been in a relationship with Enrique Iglesias since 2001.

12. Russian ice hockey player Valeri Bure married Candace Cameron Bure in 1996.

They met at a charity hockey game Candace's *Full House* costar Dave Coulier was playing in. Dave introduced them after the game. In 2014, Candace told US Weekly , "[Lori Loughlin and I] were looking at these two cute men on the ice, and I was like, 'I wanna meet that one, the blonde one,' which was Val."

13. American tennis player Andy Roddick married model/actor Brooklyn Decker in 2009.

15. And finally, sometimes, Olympians find love with fellow Olympians. American ice hockey player Bret Hedican married American figure skater and author Kristi Yamaguchi in 2000.

They met at the 1992 Olympics. However, they didn't get together until they ran into each other again three years later at an ice hockey arena opening in Vancouver.
