Setting the stage for a good night's sleep is important. We feel our best when we get plenty of Z's! One rescue Bulldog named Loki has a dad devoted to prepping for the best sleep ever and it's the sweetest thing.
In a July 12, 2024 TikTok video posted by @mythologicaldogs , Loki gets special bedtime treatment to help him drift off to sleep in the most peaceful way. This is absolutely irresistible!
In the video captioned, "Nighttime routine," Loki gets a good brushing and his ears cleaned out thoroughly before he's guided to his bed with a few toys. Dad sits and pets the good boy for a few minutes, then covers him with a special blanket so he's nice and cozy. A few more pets and then it's lights out for the sleepy Bully.
Of the many followers, most just stopped by to say how precious the sweet boy is, and they're right. Just look at him!
"That is the sweetest baby cute face," one person gushed. "Such a sweetie," another added. "Beautiful beautiful fur baby," another added.
Hopefully, Loki got the sleep he needed so he can wake up for another day of fun!

Creating the Perfect Doggy Bedtime Routine
Sleep really is that important, as it can make or break how we feel the next day. It's true for dogs, too. PetMD says a healthy sleep schedule matters. Dogs should have their own sleeping space with a comfortable blanket and/or dog pillow. It can be in a crate or just a bed, but it should be clean, cozy, and a spot they'll feel safe and secure.
Routines also matter in the life of a dog, so whatever you choose to do before bed, do it consistently. Try going for a relaxing walk an hour before bed so they know it's almost time to hit the hay. You might even give them a toy they love to ease them into sleep-mode. Whatever you choose, do it on a regular basis so they get the hint that it's time for sleep.
If you're struggling to know how to make your dog go to sleep , try adding more exercise throughout the day and adjusting their feeding schedule so they have time to digest their food. Maybe even consider playing white noise, nature, or heartbeat sounds so they're not left with random noises startling them awake.
