National Ice Cream Day: A scoop into the deals

( WJET/WFXP ) — July 21 marks National Ice Cream Day, and many places are offering freebies and deals to celebrate the day. The day is actually a federally-recognized day, being formally recognized by Ronald Reagan in 1984. In the Proclamation, he officially set the third Sunday in July to be National Ice Cream Day, he also declared the entire month of July to be “National Ice Cream Month.”
