    Three dead after car goes airborne, strikes another car

    SLIPPERY ROCK Twp., Pa. (WKBN) — Three people are dead after a car crash in Lawrence County Saturday morning.

    According to a Pennsylvania State Police news release, the car was traveling southbound in Slippery Rock Township on State Route 65 near Houge Road around 12:30 a.m.

    The car crossed the center line, then hit two utility poles and struck a nearby parked car.

    The car then went airborne and hit a tree before landing.

    A 43-year-old driver and two teenagers, aged 13 and 17, were pronounced dead on the scene. An 11-year-old was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital for advanced medical treatment, another report stated.

    An investigation is ongoing.
