Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 3 recap

The episode starts with Alya greeting her sister, Masha, after returning home. Maha notices Alya is down and asks her what the problem is. However, Alya claims there is no problem because she just met Kuze and his childhood friend. Masha laughs, thankful that a boy has finally managed to grab her attention. She then asks Alya how everything with him began.

The episode then goes back six years to when Alya was still in Russia. She was given a group assignment to do with her classmates. However, they didn’t have the same enthusiasm as her, leading to a big argument. They announce they are the best group, and Alya is torn that her group didn’t win. She decides not to depend on anyone and does everything by herself.

She then transfers to Japan and is immediately met with many questions from her new classmates. She wakes Masachika up and introduces herself. After observing him the whole day, she is appalled by his lackadaisical attitude. The class starts preparing for the festival, and Alya stays late to finish the costume despite her friends telling her to go home.

Masachika arrives and convinces her, and she agrees reluctantly. The next day, the entire class helps, and they finish the festival preparations, which results in their class winning. Masachika saves her from a flock of boys trying to dance with her during the celebrations.

The episode returns to the present, and Masha praises the story. Later, Masachika goes to help Masha run some errands for the student council. The episode ends with Masachika and Masha having a moment in the cafe.
