High pressure will stay over the Great Lakes, ensuring comfortable humidity and a light northerly flow. Temperatures will be a little cooler, in the low to mid-80s.

High clouds will continue to stream in from the west, as a weak upper-level wave moves across Kentucky. Isolated showers will remain south of the Ohio River. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight, with morning readings in the mid-60s.

A southerly flow will develop early in the week, as high pressure shifts farther east, resulting in an increase in moisture ahead of a disturbance in the middle of the country. Scattered showers and storms are possible across the southern half of the state.

Seasonably warm and humid conditions will prevail through midweek, with opportunities for scattered showers and storms increasing. A frontal boundary will stall north of the Ohio River, acting as a focus for a series of low pressure ripples.

High temperatures will generally peak in the mid-80s due to persistent cloud cover and scattered rain chances, with drier conditions by the start of the weekend.
