Once again: ‘Misinformation’ means true facts Democrats dislike

For the past few months, it has been obvious to all honest and clear-minded observers that President Joe Biden is not mentally fit to govern, much less serve another four-year term in office.

While major left-leaning newspapers gently touched on (and occasionally danced around) the topic, much of the liberal media told us that Biden was not in decline. The reports and videos of Biden being extremely confused and mentally out of it were all conservative lies — "misinformation," even.

This has been the liberal media’s favorite cudgel for years: deploying “fact-checkers” to prove the liberals’ opinion as objectively correct and the conservatives’ opinion as harmful “misinformation.”

It’s dishonest, censorious dog crap and always has been.

RNC-operative-turned-DNC-mouthpiece Nicolle Wallace provides a great example of this ploy.

Here’s what she said: “There’s a growing and insidious trend in right-wing media — broadcast, print, and social media. It is to take highly misleading and selectively edited videos of President Biden directly from Republican National Committee social media accounts and then use those videos to spread messages virally to cast doubt on President Biden’s fitness for office.”

Her argument was that these incidents did not show Biden’s decline or unfitness. They obviously did, though.

Wallace quotes as an example of supposed deception a New York Post report saying, “Biden appears to freeze up. Has to be led offstage by Obama.”

The White House said that this video actually showed a tender moment between friends and said that the GOP claims were “misinformation.”

Democrats label things as misinformation because they want to exclude such claims from open debate. Calling it misinformation is a way of saying a claim doesn’t deserve free speech protections.

The White House was lying, of course, but Wallace and many others in the media reported the White House lies not as one of competing claims but as the objective, God-ordained truth.

Conservative criticism of Biden's mental fitness was deemed a right-wing conspiracy.

Of course, once Democrats realized that Biden couldn’t possibly win, they admitted what everyone else saw: that former President Barack Obama had to manage Biden’s frailty and confusion at the Los Angeles fundraiser.

Now that we know the White House was lying and that Nicole Wallace was blindly repeating the White House's lies as the gospel truth, we have to ask ourselves: What else are they flatly lying about?
