Ka-Chow! Lightning McQueen Kids Program Coming to Savoy Museum

Ka-Chow! If you love Cars...and cars...a visit to the Savoy Automobile Museum for their upcoming Kids Program is a must!

Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville is hosting a very special Kids Program for young Lighting McQueen fans!

Savoy Museum will host a fun Kids Program titled Ka-Chow - The Inside Story of Lightning McQueen and Pixar's Cars on Saturday, August 3 from 10am - 2pm.

This special program will let kids learn more about the creation of Lightning McQueen and the other cars featured in the Pixar franchise of Cars. You can learn more about what goes in to the making of these characters from Jay Ward, Creative Director for Franchise at Pixar and automotive and creative consultant on all three Cars films; Wayne Carini, co-curator of Savoy's Movie Cars exhibit, owner of F40 Motorsports, and host of Chasing Classic Cars; and Ken Gross, moderator, historian, and Automotive Hall of Fame Honoree.

And here's the best part...

There will be a special appearance by a life-sized Lightning McQueen on site, visiting from the NASCAR Hall of Fame!

Your kiddo's ticket will also allow them to participate in activity stations from 10am - 2pm, as well as allow them the opportunity to have their photo taken with Lightning McQueen.

Activity stations include...

• Discover the parts of an engine
• Introduction to road signs - Play road sign bingo
• Play driving - Make an origami car
• Learn about maps - Learn about maps and make your own map

Tickets are required and start at $7 for kids and $17 for ages 13+. Tickets can be found HERE.
