Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Halloween tours are an autumn tradition in Atlanta, drawing visitors far and wide to Oakland Cemetery. This year, you can enjoy two weekends filled with historical intrigue and delight along a new route. With lantern light, costumed storytellers, live music, and more -- you're not going to want to miss it.

What can you expect during a Capturing the Spirit of Oakland event?

The Capturing the Spirit of Oakland tours are designed to enlighten rather than frighten. The cemetery is illuminated by lantern light as the sun sets. Guided by costumed storytellers who breathe life into the captivating tales of Oakland's notable and notorious residents, guests can explore the solemn beauty of Oakland after dark.

You'll enjoy live music at the start of your tour, and craft beer and an artisanal cocktail are perfect complements to the spirited atmosphere.

The Oakland Gift Shop offers a curated selection of treasures, such as seasonal decor and locally-crafted souvenirs.

There will also be a special VIP Night on October 23. VIP ticket holders will enjoy exclusive access to Oakland Cemetery on October 23 and enjoy a smaller Capturing the Spirit tour group. VIP Night is only for ages 21+.
