Luchia had a vision for her fridge and brought it to fruition.

Certain DIY projects can be quite polarizing if you choose to share yours online. From painting over authentic wood to changing the color of your brick , when it comes to certain trends — people on the internet can get very testy. Of all the DIY trends I've seen people balk at though, I've never seen as much vitriol as that directed at one TikToker who gave her refrigerator a monogrammed, designer-inspired makeover. To be fair, the fridge design is pretty loud and probably an acquired taste. If your preferences don't lean more eccentric, then it's definitely not for you.

Still, the amount of backlash this crafty homeowner is getting lets me know just how strangely passionate the internet can be about other people's houses. And that's more worrisome than anything this DIYer could have done in her kitchen.

If Virginia-based TikToker Luchia's user name (@ guccilucci_fashionkilla ) isn't a good enough indicator, do know that she ADORES the Italian luxury house, Gucci. The monogrammed print is her obvious favorite.

The DIYer loves it so much that she likes to see it all over her house, including on her Samsung smart fridge. Watch her turn the refrigerator into a Gucci-monogrammed chill box.

Per Luchia, the new refrigerator cover is actually a $90 magnet that can be easily applied and peels off with zero damage to the fridge. To date, her application video has acquired over two million views!

Whether you love it or hate it, Luchia's super pleased with her designer-themed upgrade.

That didn't stop people from taking to her comments to insult her affinity for the Gucci brand and question her reasoning.

"Tacky," the first comment reads simply.

"What in the MTV cribs is this 🤣🤣💕💕," some obvious millennial wrote.

"Jus bc u can doesn't mean you should," another criticized.

"Might as well do the trash can stove & dishwasher, it’s a No for me," someone else shared.

There's also a litany of people flat-out saying "no" or dropping the question "why?"

Some people hopped in to defend Luchia's Gucci home makeover."

"For her, it matches and it goes with her whole decor in HER HOUSE you not suppose to like it but she does. End of story," someone wrote to the haters.

"I covered my refrigerator with glitter and it’s amazing," someone else chimed in. "Let the haters hate. It’s your house your way. I love it!"

"Great job sis," another encouraged her while correcting the naysayers. "Why say negative things if it ain’t for you keep scrolling. Says alot about you."

One person actually even appreciated learning about a new, damage-free way to decorate. "As long as you like it that’s all that matters," they wrote. "I didn’t even know that you could buy magnet covers like this for a refrigerator which is cool."

But LOL, none of those defenses to the haters matched Luchia's own quick-witted clapbacks.

After someone asked her age, Luchia replied, "Old enough to pray and allow the lord to bless me with this knock-off magnet that’s driving you crazy, huh."

The remainder of her responses to the criticism can pretty much be summed up this way: It's her house, her taste, her rules and it doesn't have to be loved by anyone anyone else. Cheers to Luchia doing what she wants in her home no matter what others say.

We could all learn a thing or two from her fridge. Paint the wood white if you want. Turn a vintage piece into something that feels more modern. Paint your brick white if that makes you feel better about it. Turn your home into a Barbie dreamhouse. And share it on the internet if you choose.

We don't get to do life twice but we get to enjoy our living spaces one million times over while we have the time by decorating them the way we want.
