MADISON, Wis. -- The Word Database announced Thursday its Google analysis study revealed the top 10 hardest SAT words for Wisconsin, among other national findings.

Based on online search trends, the WDB said the SAT word Wisconsinites struggle with the most is "nuanced." Its definition, " possessed of multiple layers of detail, pattern, or meaning," is Googled most out of any other SAT word in the state.

The WDB said other difficult SAT words for Wisconsinites include "manifest," "antecedent," "tentative," and "ensured." While those words are reflected in national statistics, Wisconsinites also uniquely struggle with the words "cordially" and "ambivalence."

Nationally, the WDB said other hard SAT words in America include "imminent," "persistent," and "dynamic." Those words tend to be an especially challenging obstacle for Hawai'i, New York, and California residents.

The WDB said Wisconsin seems the least preoccupied with learning the definitions of the evaluated SAT words, accompanied by Kentucky and Iowa.
