Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will be streaming on Netflix beginning on Monday, July 22, 2024, according to the streamer’s upcoming titles’ carousel.

The movie is coming to Netflix four months after opening in theaters as part of Netflix’s deal with Sony Pictures that gives the streamer the rights to the Sony movies in the “Pay 1” window, meaning the first streaming window after the film’s home media release. Other recent Sony movies, including The Pope’s Exorcist and No Hard Feelings , also came to Netflix about four months after opening in theaters.

New titles tend to release on Netflix at 12 a.m. Pacific Time (which is 3 a.m. Eastern Time) on the morning of the movie’s release date. Therefore, you can expect to see Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire streaming on Netflix on Monday, July 22 at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, or 3 a.m. Eastern Time, on Monday morning.

That means if you live on the West Coast, you’ll be able to watch Ghostbusters on Netflix as early as midnight, if you stay up late on Sunday. But you should probably get some sleep! Ghostbusters will still be there in the morning.
