    3.5 magnitude earthquake rocks L.A.’s South Bay

    A 3.5 magnitude earthquake was reported in the South Bay of Los Angeles County at 3:09 p.m. Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

    The epicenter was just off the coast in the Pacific Ocean. It was about 4.4 miles west of Palos Verdes Estates, 5.3 miles southwest of Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach and about 6.1 miles southwest of Manhattan Beach, per the USGS.

    There was no immediate word on any injuries or structural damages as a result.
