Johnny Depp, 61, will find it 'difficult to relate' to 28-year-old girlfriend Yulia Vlasova

Johnny Depp might have found love again, but one expert believes the huge age-gap could lead to a lot of problems.

The Hollywood actor, 61, has been romantically linked to 28-year-old model Yulia Vlasova after first meeting in Prague at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 2021. A year after their first meeting, Johnny and Yulia were seen getting cozy at the late Jeff Beck's concert .

While it's believed Johnny and Yulia are still keeping their relationship "casual" , relationship expert Louella Alderson believes they could face hurdles in their future, given their huge age-gap. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, she said: "It can be difficult for couples with a significant age gap to find common ground, as they may have different life experiences and perspectives.

"However, it is not impossible for a relationship with a large age gap to be successful; it may just require more effort and understanding. For Johnny Depp and Yulia Vlasova to find common ground, they will need to prioritize open communication and understanding of each other's perspectives.

"They should also make an effort to engage in activities that both parties enjoy and be willing to compromise when necessary. A willingness to learn from each other and bridge any potential generation gaps can also go a long way in making their relationship work."

Louella added: "As long as both partners are committed to making the relationship work and are accepting of each other's differences, there is no reason why an age gap should determine their fate." However, she said Johnny and Yulia will face some "unique challenges".

Louella explained: "For Johnny Depp and Yulia Vlasova, they may face societal judgment and criticism, differing energy levels, and potential generational differences in values and beliefs." She also suggested they could face push-back from Johnny's 25-year-old daughter Lily-Rose Depp.

The expert told us: "It could potentially cause issues or discomfort for Lily-Rose to see her father dating someone so close in age to her and she may not want to form a relationship with Yulia. Lily may also be questioning Yulia's intentions and whether she is truly compatible with Johnny or just after his fame and fortune.

"This could strain the relationship between Lily and Yulia, causing further complications for the couple." Offering her advice, Louella said: "It's important for Yulia and Johnny to be respectful of Lily's feelings and boundaries if she feels uncomfortable with their relationship and doesn't want to spend time with them as a couple."
