SRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP)- State democratic lawmakers say they fully support the president’s decision.

State senator Jo Comerford and state representative Lindsay Sabadosa saying from here on out, their party will need to be fully invested in campaigning for whoever becomes the democratic nominee. Both saying uniting the party and moving towards a common goal, will help voters who are still on the fence make their decision.

“We’re going to have to work all of us were going to have to break down barriers break down boundaries believe that we can win I do believe that the American people can do this together its going to take all of us to coolest to communicate to cooperate” says state senator Joanne M. Comerford.

“I think we saw that perhaps this was on the horizon but I personally wanted to be respectful and make sure he made this decision and didn’t feel pressured um and so he has come to this decision now and were ready to rally now behind the vice president” says State representative Lindsay Sabadosa.

Both lawmakers have fully endorsed vice-president Kamala Harris. They believe she is prepared for the presidency and have a little over three months to convince the American people to trust her vision for this country.
