Nicolas Cage is spending some one-on-one time with his son, Kal-El.
The actor recently went through some fatherhood woes when his eldest son, Weston Cage , was arrested. Now, Nicolas was spotted vacationing with Kal-El in Italy as they took a stroll through Venice together. There was an obvious juxtaposition between the actor and his son as Nicolas wore a jarring mix of bright colors while Kal-El opted for a darker, grungey look.
The National Treasure actor wore a matching button down-shorts set with a vibrant print. It included reds, yellows, purples, and blues in an abstract pattern. The star popped on a pair of dark shades and a silver watch.

His son, who is named after Superman, wore a casual all-black outfit with a pair of Nike joggers and a t-shirt. He wore his long, dark hair down to his shoulders and added a pair of aviator sunglasses.
Kal-El is the son of Nicolas and his third wife, Alice Kim, who were married for over a decade. They split in Jan. 2016. Kal-El made a brief dip into his father's profession when he lent his voice to Teen Titans GO! to the Movies as Young Bruce Wayne.
Nicolas shares three children with three different women, something he admitted to not anticipating. He told The New Yorker : "They're all different experiences. Each one has a different mother. It's not what I had originally thought would happen when I fell in love or got married—that I would have three different children with three different moms—but nonetheless that's what's happened. So every child is different. There's a different kind of level of attention."
Nicolas' eldest son found himself in handcuffs after a violent clash with his mother, Christina Fulton. The 33-year-old was nabbed by the cops in Los Angeles on July 10 when his mom emerged with a nasty black eye after an alleged fight with her son.
The LAPD confirmed his arrest, stating, "I can confirm that Weston Cage Coppola was arrested today for assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested by LAPD's 77th Division." After posting a hefty $150,000 bail around 10 a.m. local time, Weston walked free.
Following his arrest, Weston finalized a divorce from Hila Cage Coppola. The pair officially split in Sept. 2021 and were ensnared in a legal battle, which only just concluded in 2024. According to court documents obtained by TMZ , they've decided to maintain the current custody agreement which axes Weston from visitation rights as Hila keeps full custody of the kids.
