    Fans of House of the Dragon and Love Island have difficult 'dilemma' as they struggle to make choice

    Tonight is a big night for television .

    On Sunday, the Love Island USA finale and a new episode of House of the Dragon aired at the same time. And fans of the hit dating show and the iconic fantasy series had a difficult choice to make what to watch.

    Fans of both shows took to social media to share their thoughts. "The Sunday dilemma of deciding if I should watch love island or hotd first," one dual fan wrote on X, formally known as Twitter.

    Another said: "Love how the tl is just love island and hotd." Other people pointed out how they were going back and forth between streaming services. They wrote: "Pausing love island to watch HOTD."

    Some people shared their difficult decision they made. "Choosing HOTD over Love Island but will watch immediately after so I won't be back on here until 11," someone wrote.

    Love Island USA's finale episode had four couples waiting to see if they won the show and the cash prize of $100,000. JaNa and Kenny, Kendall and Nicole, Serena and Kordell, and Leah and Miguel were the final four couples.

    Meanwhile on House of the Dragon, which is set almost 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, is airing with three episodes left in the season. It's action packed and drama filled season has left viewers on the edge of their seat as they watched.

    However, for those who chose to watch the hit HBO show, social media was ready with spoilers for Love Island within minutes. With the entire two hour episode uploaded on Peacock, viewers could just skip to the end to find out who won - and then tell everyone on social media.

    "I’m so f-----g bitter right now people who posted winner spoilers. At least could’ve waiting til 10:30," one X user wrote. Another added: "A big f--k you to the motherf---ers who fast-forward to the end of the episode and then come on here to post spoilers #loveislandusa thanks for ruining the chat. Thanks for ruining everything honestly."
