Love Island winners announced as Ariana Madix breaks down in tears

The finale of season six of Love Island USA is finally here.

Four couples went to the final - Nicole and Kendall; Serena and Kordell; Leah and Miguel; and JaNa and Kenny. During the last episode on Sunday night, host Ariana Madix entered the villa and announced who won the season

Nicole and Kendall came in fourth place and JaNa and Kenny in third - leaving Serena and Kordell and Miguel and Leah as the two finalist couples. Finally, Ariana shared that the winners of Love Island USA 2024 were Serena and Kordell.

The couple were stunned that they won. When Ariana asked Kordell how it felt, he said: "Electric!"

Serena and Kordell first coupled up on day one, but had a rollercoaster of a relationship. Emotions ran high, especially when Kordell brought Daia back from Casa Amor and Serena chewed him out.

But the couple overcame their challenges and won America over. And now they won Love Island.

Then it was time for the prize money. Serena and Kordell were each given an envelope. One contained the $100,000 prize money and the other had nothing.

Kordell had the envelope with the prize money and had the option to split it with Serena or keep the money for himself. He chose to split the money with his other half.

During the episode, the couples all went on their final dates. Nicole and Kendall went parasailing and had an emotional picnic on the beach where Kendall tearfully admitted he loved her.

Miguel and Leah were up next and went riding on an ATV that led to a mountain view table with champagne and a cheese board. Then Serena and Kordell went on a date where they drove a vintage blue car and watched a faux drive-thru movie of their experience in the villa.

JaNa and Kenny's date included notes from their loved ones who were watching the show. All the girls were also given a "girls' day out" spa day.

Fans reacted to the winners on Twitter, now known as X. "IM SO PROUD OF AMERICA RN I LOVE YOU ALL FOR PICKING THE RIGHT WINNERS LETS GO BABY," one fan wrote.

"Kordell and Serena winning made this season the best in love island usa history," another said. A third added: "The only thing America has done right this week was picking the right winners for Love Island USA."

Others were sad that the season was over. "I don’t want this show to end genuinely wtf do I do without it," someone said.
