    First day of school reported for 27 Monroe County districts, schools

    MONROE COUNTY — The first day of the 2024-25 school year is quickly approaching. Most Monroe County schools will begin Sept. 3, but a few, such as Huron School District and Milan Area Schools, start in August. Here's a quick rundown of who starts when so parents, and students, can be prepared.

    Airport Community Schools: Sept. 3

    Bedford Public Schools: Sept. 3

    Dundee Community Schools: Aug. 26

    Flat Rock Community Schools: Aug. 26

    Gibraltar School District: Sept. 3

    Holy Ghost Lutheran School: Aug. 21

    Huron School District: Sept. 3

    Ida Public Schools: Sept. 3

    Jefferson School District: Sept. 3

    Mason Consolidated Schools: Sept. 3

    Meadow Montessori: Sept. 3

    Milan Area Schools: Aug. 26

    Monroe Catholic Elementary Schools: Aug. 26

    Monroe County Middle College: Sept. 3

    Monroe Public Schools: Sept. 3

    New Bedford Academy: Sept. 3

    St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Academy: Aug. 26
