The Thai BL series Wandee Goodday aired its finale episode 12 on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on GMM 25. The storyline follows Yoryak (Great Sapol Assawamunkong) and Wandee’s (Inn Sarin Ronnakiat) journey from friends with benefits to falling in love.
Episode 12 of Wandee Goodday begins with Wandee making it to Yoryak’s fight in time as the latter thanks him. When he’s about to enter the ring, Yoryak’s trauma is triggered as he sees the mysterious man again. Wandee then holds his hands and offers his support. During the fight, Mason aims for Yoryak’s injured shoulder. After the latter sees the hooded man again and loses focus, Wandee calls out Yoryak’s name to bring him back into the fight.
After the first round, Yoryak tells Wandee he saw the man again. The latter then tells the former that it’s time for him to let him go. Wandee shares that he spoke to the doctor who looked after Yoryak’s mother before she passed away. The former continues and says the latter’s mom loved her sons dearly. Wandee adds that although the old Yoryak might feel guilty for missing his last chance to be with his mother, he must let him go. When Yoryak returns to fight, he sees himself as the hooded man. Earlier, Wandee also told him that for some traumas, one cannot turn back the time to fix them or erase them from the memories. However, they can free themselves from their hold. “Your life right now is yours,” Wandee said.
Yoryak fights the hooded man as he tries to overcome his trauma. Meanwhile, Mason begins to lose his balance. Later, Yoryak gets knocked down and remembers his mother. Then he returns to the fight with full force. After throwing a powerful punch, Yoryak wins against Mason and becomes the latest GBF Middleweight World Champion.
Wandee Goodday final episode 12 spoilers
During his winning speech, Yoryak honors his mom and thanks his brother and everyone who has supported him. He then asks Wandee to join him in the ring. Yoryak thanks him and says he could seize the belt because of him. Furthermore, Wandee surprises Yoryak with a cake and celebrates his belated birthday. The two then share intimate moments. Meanwhile, Oyei and Cher celebrate as they get the boxing club’s ownership back.
Did Inn Sarin get the scholarship?
Wandee gets worried when he can’t find the necklace Yoryak gave him. However, the latter brings it to him before the scholarship test. Yoryak then wishes good luck to Wandee and assures him that he’ll ace it. Afterward, Plakao introduces Blue to Wandee and Yoryak and shares that the pair will explore their new asexual relationship. Meanwhile, Ter and Taem also get to know each other. Furthermore, Wandee and Yoryak celebrate with the former’s grandmother. The two also express that they’re an important part of each other’s families.
At the hospital’s New Year event, Wandee is announced as the first doctor from the orthopedics department to receive a scholarship to study abroad. He thanks the professor, colleagues, patients, and hospital staff for their support. He also thanks his idol, Dr. Ter, who inspired him. After thanking Plakao, Vivi, and his grandmother, Wandee honors the important person in his life, Yoryak, with a surprise song. Afterward, the former asks the latter to be his real boyfriend. Yoryak says yes with a kiss.
Who gets married in the Wandee Goodday finale?
Further in the episode, Yoryak and Wandee walk the aisle as the ring bearers at the wedding of Oyei and Cher, who get married in the final episode of Wandee Goodday. The couple raises a toast as they celebrate the marriage equality law. Cher gets emotional as he shares how the two went from boyfriends to life partners.
How does Wandee Goodday episode 12 end?
After the celebration, Yoryak and Wandee take a walk at the beach. After the former says he’ll visit the latter when he goes to study abroad, Wandee suggests they put their relationship on hold. However, Yoryak refuses to do so and says, “You can’t make me love you and then break up with me.” Wandee clarifies that it’s not a breakup, but since he will be away for several years, Yoryak may find someone else. The former says he doesn’t want the latter to feel guilty if such a thing happens.
Although Wandee tells Yoryak to stay open to opportunities, the latter replies that he’s certain the former is the one for him. Wandee Goodday ends on a happy note as Yoryak assures Wandee he will wait for him. The two then express their love for each other.
