Philadelphia, PA – ACCT Philly is addressing overcrowding concerns by paying people to foster animals.

The organization’s new “Foster Frenzy” program is creating incentives for families to open their homes to shelter pets since the summer season is peek time for overcrowding.

Foster families will receive $100 for caring for either an adult cat, or a litter of kittens. Fostering dogs comes with a payment of $200, and no matter the animal, foster families will receive a care kit to get started.

This program ends tomorrow, July 23rd, and ACCT Philly is aiming to have 75 animals placed in foster care by the end of it.
