The ongoing office romance Chinese drama As Beautiful As You, featuring Xu Kai and Tan Songyun in the lead roles, released episode 32 on July 21, 2024. As seen in the official trailer and previous installments, the drama narrates the story of Ji Xing (Tan Songyun) and Han Ting (Xu Kai) as they become each other’s support system. Episode 32 focuses on the aftermath of Han Ting and Ji Xing’s breakup.

In this episode, Ji Xing advises her employees on how to prepare for the upcoming merger. She emphasizes that as long as she has them by her side, Xingchen can overcome any setback. The employees promised her to work extra hard after the merger to not let her down. Meanwhile, Yuan meets up with Chang He. She is angry that he keeps mixing love and business. Only for Zeng Di’s sake, he exchanged Xingchen’s shares for Han Ting’s shares in Guanghua.

Chang He assures her that he is doing it to strengthen their partnership. He reveals that Dongyang Medical already holds shares in Hanhai, and it is not possible to surpass them. But eventually, Chang He will persuade Zeng Di to let him fully own Guanghua. In a threatening tone, he says that if Yuan gets rid of an ally like Chang He, it won’t be long before Han Ting will kick her out of Dongyang Medical.

But he doesn’t want to reveal these details to their grandfather or board members, nor does he want to punish her, as it will make their family a laughingstock. Furthermore, he orders her to hand him over her shares of Dongyang.

On New Year’s Eve, Han Ting’s pet cat gets out of the house and almost gets drowned. But Han Ting manages to save her at the last moment. As Han Ting and Ji Xing watch the firecrackers in their respective homes, they can’t help but look back at the previous year’s celebration. They recall how they watched the light show together and promised to spend the rest of their lives together.
