An outbreak of listeria linked to grocery store deli meat has killed two people, including one person from New Jersey.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says at least 28 people have gotten sick from the listeria outbreak, all of which have been hospitalized.

This outbreak is multi-state, with the other confirmed death being a resident from Illinois.

According to the CDC, the most commonly reported deli meats consumed among people who have gotten sick are turkey, liverwurst, and ham.

The CDC is still investigating which deli meats are the source of the outbreak.
