After an amazing July weekend filled with much cooler temperatures and rain chances, a slow warming trend is expected across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley as we head into the work week!

Despite this, temperatures should remain below average in most locations across our weather coverage area, as abundant cloud cover sticks around over the coming days. Slight chances for showers and storms should also be hanging around for most of this week, as NW flow continues to funnel in small pieces of energy towards the Ozarks.

Right now, Thursday and Friday look like the most likely days for thunderstorm activity, though considerable uncertainty remains in the forecast!

Join us on KNWA Today and FOX24 News at 7 for all of the latest weather information you need to know to start your work week!
