Team Sweden's "Olympic Offensive" group will hit the ice this week for training, including a trio of games in Uppsala, Sweden against Ohio State, the reigning NCAA national champions.

The camp will feature 34 Swedish players, including a few players with Ohio State ties. One of those players, Mira Jungåker, will play for Ohio State this week despite the fact she's typically a member of Sweden's national team. Jungåker is headed to the NCAA with Ohio State this fall. Jenna Raunio, another future Ohio State defender will play for Sweden. She's slated to join the Buckeyes in 2025-2026.

"It will be fantastic fun to get together again, after a number of important training weeks in a home environment," said Sweden's head coach Ulf Lundberg in a translated press release . "We will have a rewarding camp in many ways, but the strawberries on the cake will of course be the matches against Ohio State University."

Among the players in attendance are several other NCAA players who will be representing Sweden including Tindra Holm (Minnesota-Duluth), Ida Karlsson (Minnesota-Duluth), Sofia Ljung (Mercyhurst), Solveig Gisler (Merrimack), Josefin Bouveng (Minnesota), Celine Tedenby (Merrimack), Thea Johansson (Mercyhurst), and Maria Lindberg (Merrimack).

The group also includes a number of PWHL players including netminder Emma Söderberg (PWHL Boston), Maja Nylén-Persson (PWHL New York), Anna Kjellbin (PWHL Montreal), and Lina Ljungblom (PWHL Montreal).

The remainder of the group are all scheduled to play in the SDHL this season. Some like Raunio, Hilda Svensson, Elin Svensson, and Nicole Hall are destined for the NCAA this season or next. Others like Linnéa Andersson, Paula Bergstrom, Sara Hjalmarsson, and Hanna Thuvik are veterans of the Swedish national program. The remainder of Sweden's group includes goaltenders Ebba Svensson Träff and Ida Boman; defenders Nathalie Lidman, Emma Forsgren, Jessica Adolfsson, and Annie Silén; and forwards Wilma Sundin, Sofie Lundin, Lova Blom, Ebba Hedqvist, Felicia Wikner-Zienkiewicz, Mira Hallin, Felicia Levin and Isabelle Leijonhielm.

One notable absence from the camp is perhaps Sweden's top offensive players in international competition Hanna Olsson. Olsson missed almost the entirety of last season with an injury, but returned in time to represent Sweden at the 2024 World Championships.

The teams will face of July 25, 26, and 27.
