The actor, 52, noted that while he “didn’t really have any scenes with” the reality star, they “met a couple of times” and Kent, 33, was “not the friendliest to [him].”
When host Andy Cohen pressed for details, the retired wrestler continued, “I don’t know. [She] gave me a little attitude. I felt a little attitude, know what I’m saying? I wasn’t trying to give attitude. I was like, ‘Why am I getting attitude?'”
He confirmed to Cohen, 56, that their interactions felt “exactly” like he was filming “Vanderpump Rules.”
Many social media users sarcastically joked that Kent wasn’t capable of giving “attitude,” while others outright slammed the Bravolebrity.
“How the f–k do you give David Arquette an attitude he’s the most down to earth person lol says A LOT!” one hater wrote, with another adding that Kent should have treated the “famous actor” with “respect.”
Page Six has reached out to Kent’s rep for comment.
He explained that many of his “arguments” with Cox, 60, stemmed from wanting to fill “the traditional male” role as the “breadwinner” in their relationship.
