Bronny James has been the biggest draw of the NBA offseason, so much so that several sports media outlets continue to produce content about the Los Angeles Lakers rookie just to take advantage of the massive interest in him. ESPN, however, took the Bronny talks up a notch.

Recently, ESPN (via SportsCenter) shared a comparison between Bronny and San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama. While one would be hard-pressed to think about any way the two youngsters could be similar, the media giant made it possible with a rather quirky tidbit.

Apparently, both James and Wembanyama weigh the same (at 210 lbs) even though the latter is a foot taller than the former.

Sure enough, fans couldn't help but comment about the comparison. Many simply couldn't believe that ESPN really found a way to mention Bronny James and Victor Wembanyama in the same vein.

"Bro these Bronny post are starting to getting insane," a commenter said. Another one shared, "They’ve done it! Bronny and Wemby somehow in the same post."

A disappointed poster shared, "Please don’t put them in the same sentence. NOT in any way, shape, form, or fashion." A social media user agreed, saying: "Bro don’t ever compare bronny to wemby in any way or form."

Others took note of the fact about Wembanyama's weight, using it to fuel the conversations about his need to bulk up.

"Wemby needa hit tht gym and gain sum muscle," a fan said.

Another supporter noted, "Once Wemby puts some weight on he’ll be scary."

Considering how popular Bronny is, it's unlikely that ESPN's post will be the last time he'll be mentioned alongside Wemby.
