Popular SBS K-drama Good Partner announced its hiatus after this Friday’s episode due to the coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The series, which premiered on July 12, 2024, has Jang Na-Ra and Nam Ji-Hyun in lead roles.
Although Good Partner only recently premiered, it has already garnered significant attention for its plot and characters. The SBS drama documents the journey of two completely different divorce lawyers, Cha Eun-Kyung (Jang Na-Ra) and Han Yu-Ri (Nam Ji-Hyun). Although the two initially don’t see eye-to-eye, they eventually collaborate on cases.
Why is Good Partner K-drama episode 6 release date delayed & when will it air?
On Monday, July 22, 2024, a source from SBS and Good Partner announced the adjustment in the broadcast schedule. They revealed that the K-drama would go on hiatus from July 27 to August 10, 2024, due to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games coverage . This means that Episode 5 will be available for viewers, airing on Friday, July 26, 2024.
However, Episode 6 of the series will air the week after August 10, 2024. Viewers will be able to watch Good Partner Episode 6 on Friday, August 16, 2024 . The drama will follow its regular schedule post-Olympics coverage of airing every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST on SBS. Meanwhile, viewers can also stream the episodes on Viki.
According to Nielsen Korea, Good Partner has seen a steady increase in its ratings. It premiered with a 7.8% average nationwide rating, surpassing double-digit ratings in the first three episodes. The fourth episode recorded an average nationwide rating of 13.7%, cementing its popularity among other K-dramas.
Don’t forget to tune in to Good Partner Episode 5 on Friday, July 26, and Episode 6 on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10 p.m. KST on SBS and later on Viki.
