Do you live somewhere that gets mail delivered? Especially if you're in town, you probably have to display your house number somewhere. Let's face it, that can get pretty boring. Stark black numbers on the side of your house aren’t really that attractive, am I right?

Well, there’s a quick and easy DIY using Dollar Tree supplies that could change all that! Let's kick it over to Laryssa Meira who proves that classy doesn’t have to be expensive!

To make your own address sign, start by heading to your local Dollar Tree and grabbing a few supplies—namely a large picture frame, a pack of Jenga blocks (yep, the small wooden game pieces), and E-6000 glue to start with.

Take the backing from your frame, then bring out your Jenga blocks. These should then be glued down to the backing using a simple overlapping pattern, which will eventually look a bit like herringbone. You will have some overlap on the sides, but don't worry about that just yet—you'll want to finish first!

Next, take everything outside and lay the frame down on top of the glued-on Jenga blocks and mark the outside, which is where you will eventually cut. You can take this time to stain the blocks as well as spray paint the outer frame (black in Laryssa's case), and allow to dry.

After that, now is the time to cut. You can use a jigsaw or even a circular saw and carefully cut along the line you made earlier. Replace the outer frame, add your numbers (either by using stickers, a Cricut, or even stenciling them on) as well as a name or anything else you'd like to customize it. And it is as simple as that!

Now stand back and admire your handiwork! You've turned boring old house numbers into a piece of art that adds character and curb appeal to your home without breaking the bank. Not to mention, it’s a fun project that you can easily tackle in a single afternoon.

So, to wrap things up, why settle for boring when you can have fabulous? This Dollar Tree DIY is the perfect way to make your house number stand out in style without breaking the bank in the meantime!
