    Metro seeks public’s input to ‘help shape transit’ in the DMV

    WASHINGTON ( DC News Now ) — The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments are seeking the public’s input to find ways to improve public transportation in the DMV.

    A post on the X platform from Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation said the 10-minute survey, “DMVMoves,” will gather information from the public’s experiences using transportation to “help shape transit in the D.C. region.”

    The survey is due by Aug 4.

    Individuals 18 and older who complete the survey can share their name and contact information for a chance to win one of 10 $100 gift cards, according to the survey’s website.
