Hyundai, BMW, Porsche among latest vehicles recalled: Check car recalls here

Hyundai is recalling more than 54,000 vehicles because of a potential faulty fuel pump, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Hyundai recall for fuel pump issues

Hyundai is recalling 54,647 vehicles because the fuel pump may fail, which can result in a loss of drive power. A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.

The vehicles included in the recall are:

• 2019-2022 Veloster N
• 2019-2023 Genesis G70
• 2022-2023 Elantra N
• 2022-2023 Kona N

Dealers will update engine control module software. In addition, dealers will inspect and replace the fuel pump assembly, as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Sept. 9. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's numbers for this recall are 262 and 023G.

BMW recalls vehicles over airbag issues

BMW is recalling 1,145 vehicles because the driver's airbag inflator may explode during deployment, due to a manufacturing defect. An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, increasing the risk of injury or death.

The vehicles included in the recall are:

• 2014 5 Series Gran Turismo
• 2014 5 Series Sedan
• 2015 6 Series Convertible
• 2015 6 Series Coupe
• 2014 X5
• 2013-2014 X3

The driver's front airbag will be replaced, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Sept. 2. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417.

Porsche recalls cars over front axle issues

Porsche is recalling 2,475 2024 Cayenne vehicles because the driver's side front axle upper left control arm installed on the vehicles may have been installed with cracks, which can result in the front axle control arm breaking and an unexpected loss of steering and wheel control.

Dealers will replace the driver-side left upper control arm, free of charge. Owner letters are expected to be mailed on Sept. 13. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARB2.
