Lainey Wilson’s music videos are always stellar. She knows how to pair just the right visuals to her powerful, affecting songs. Below, find three of our favorites.

3 of the Best Lainey Wilson Music Videos

    1. “Heart Like A Truck”

Wilson attempts to break a wild horse in the music video for “Heart Like a Truck.” Though the titular vehicle is featured in the visual, the song’s sentiment is conveyed through Wilson’s unique connection with the obstinate horse. It’s a powerful story of taking time and care to earn the trust of something wild and free. As she says in the song, you’d need a similar amount of patience to make your way into her weathered heart.

    I got a heart like a truck

It’s been drug through the mud

    Runs on dreams and gasoline

And that ole highway holds the key

    2. “Hang Tight Honey”

Wilson plays a ’70s rock and roller in the music video for “Hang Tight Honey.” Like the lyrics suggest, she’s hitting the road to play some music for some fans getting straight up sideways. While she recounts life on the road (albeit through a hazy, retro lens) she reminds the listener who she’s doing it all for.

Hang tight honey I’m a white line running down a dream on a long-lost highway

Me and this band playing one-night stands for some fans getting straight up sideways

But baby I miss your blue-collar kiss

Just one more day to get through

    3. “Wildflowers and Wild Horses”

The music video for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” is straight up cinematic. From sweeping shots of the wild, wild west to Wilson putting on her best dramatics, the music video feels like it should be shown on the silver screen. It’s the perfect amount of melodrama for this powerful song about perseverance.

In the middle of the night

I hear a corn field coyote cry

Up at the moon no matter what

    Sky I’m laying under

In the eye of a hurricane
