The Los Angeles Chargers injected new life into the fanbase with the hiring of Jim Harbaugh. So much so, in fact, that the demand for training camp tickets is crashing the website in minutes.

At 10:00 AM on July 15th, Chargers fans raced to obtain tickets to see their team practice only to find themselves queued behind thousands. The Bolt, the team's new practice facility, offers significantly less seating for fans. The desire to grab those limited seats drove an unprecedented number of fans to the site within seconds of the tickets dropping.

Then, much like with any frenzy for highly-anticipated ticket launches, the site crashed.

Fans experienced a number of technical difficulties with the website not operating at proper speed (if at all). Some waited in a queue for 30 minutes only for the site to crash once they got to the front of the line. Others got to the site only for there to be no available dates due to a glitch. When many finally got to the end, tickets were completely sold out.

The second week of training camp tickets became available this morning, July 22nd, at 10:00 AM. There appears to be just as much of an issue, if not more so, than last week. Fans are anxious, impatient, and a bit frustrated.

There is a fever pitch among Chargers fans to get an early glimpse of their favorite team in action. The team hired a rock star of a head coach in Jim Harbaugh, a move clearly having the desired effect on fan excitement and engagement. There is a demand for Chargers football this this franchise has not felt in quite some time. Supporters of the team can only hope it translates to a massive increase of in-person support as the Las Vegas Raiders come to SoFi Stadium the first week of the season.
