Kelly Ripa Says She And Mark Consuelos Are In A “One-Way Trolling Relationship” On ‘Live’: “I Love To Troll My Husband”

Mark Consuelos needs to step up his trolling game with Kelly Ripa — and who better to learn from than Ryan Reynolds ?

The co-host couple was joined by the Deadpool & Wolverine star on Monday’s installment of Live with Kelly and Mark , where they asked him about trolling his wife, Blake Lively .

“You guys troll each other on social media so much. I think it’s fantastic,” Consuelos gushed.

Reynolds replied, “Yeah, we do. Sometimes we don’t. And then people are like, ‘Look at the trolling!’ And I’m just like, ‘I said she looked really lovely in that dress… You guys jumped the gun.'”

After Reynolds claimed that the trolling is “the sign of a healthy relationship,” Ripa agreed, though she said that it’s “hard” when the trolling is not reciprocated.

“I’m in a one-way trolling relationship. I love to troll my husband,” she said. “I could literally post something about something horrible, and his response to everything is three hearts. It’s so boring.”

After Consuelos clarified that he “play[s] it safe,” Reynolds quipped, “I’ll drop the triple heart every now and again.”

“I don’t know if I want to cross the line,” Consuelos added.

Meanwhile, Reynolds teased that he has “a trolling war room” downstairs to conduct the said trolling of his wife.

“There’s conspiracy yarn. There’s all kinds of stuff,” he joked. “Pie chart, I don’t even know what that’s for.”

Consuelos asked Reynolds if he has “writers down there” assisting him.

“Yes, it’s me and a whole, just, gang of them, basically. Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, my co-writers on Deadpool , they’ve come up with some ace jokes,” Reynolds teased. “We can share it all with you.”

Consuelos responded, “I would love that. I need the help.”

As for whether that “trolling” takes place at home, Reynolds brought up “an invisible line [he] could put between any great relationship, which is that [they] genuinely root for each other.”

“And I think that that’s kind of the foundation of it that I think really works well,” he continued.

He noted that he can also “take that invisible line to Hugh Jackman ,” his Deadpool 3 co-star, whom he referred to as “one of [his] closest friends in the world.”

“Now that we literally just finished an entire world tour together, that’s one thing in our 17 years of being best pals we’ve always had with each other is we just want each other to win. And it’s so much less trolling and goofy and silliness when we’re behind closed doors. Same with Blake,” he shared.
