Hundreds of jobs available with NYC Department of Transportation

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Hundreds of jobs are currently available with the New York City Department of Transportation — including some high-paying positions.

The jobs are listed online on JobsNYC , the official careers website for the City of New York. The New York City DOT currently has 270 open positions, nearly all of which are full-time.

The job listings include a range of salaries, with some paying over $100,000.

Some of the jobs require different levels of experience. Most of the positions are described as “experienced” roles, but there are some entry-level and student positions available.

More than one-third of the jobs fall under the categories of engineering, architecture, and planning. Other job categories include administration, building operations, finance and accounting, legal affairs, technology, and communications.
