Ohio Brew Week Last Call successful

Court Street hosted a crowd of well over 100 attendees on Saturday, when the Last Call event for Ohio Brew Week took place.

The event blocked off a portion of the road and featured a wide variety of beer, food and merchandise booths along the sidewalks. Those attending the event appeared to be in high spirits as they perused the booths and listened attentively to the variety of bands on the main stage.

Hayley Burke, Paisley Russell and Hallie Frost stood at the corner of the CI, each sporting the signature pink cup from this year’s Last Call. Although each of the three were connected in various ways, they came together as a group during Brew Week two years ago, inspiring the group to celebrate their ‘friendaversary’ during the event this year, Burke said.

“I've had a good time; I like being able to like try the different ones (beers)” Frost said.

Before heading off to continue the day’s festivities, the three shared their favorite beers from the day: a Wild Tea Strawberry Pineapple, a tea and lemonade IPA and a sour from 50 West Brewing Company.
