Universal Pictures has officially welcomed Golden Globe winner Sharon Stone to the cast of Nobody 2, which serves a sequel to the 2021 action thriller.

Stone will be joining Better Call Saul’s Bob Odenkirk, who will be reprising his role Hutch Mansell. The Total Recall star is expected to portray the sequel’s main villain. At the moment, there’s no word yet if other cast members from the first installment, like Connie Nielsen, RZA and Christopher Lloyd, would also be returning.

Who is involved in Nobody 2?

Nobody 2 will be directed by Indonesian filmmaker Tim Tjahjanto from a screenplay written by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem. The film will be produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero for Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Braden Aftergood for Eighty Two Films. Universal Pictures executivces Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret set to oversee the project.

The first installment centered around former assassin Hutch Mansell, who finds himself involved in the criminal world again, after feeling overlooked and underestimated by everyone, including his family. Further details about the sequel’s plot are still under wraps. During its theatrical run, the film received positive reviews from critics. It also earned worldwide gross of over $57 million against a reported budget of around $16 million.
