Gisele Bündchen is surrounded by love.
The supermodel and her five sisters — Raquel, Graziela, Gabriela, Rafaela and her fraternal twin Patricia — are the children of Vânia and Valdir Bündchen.
“My family is everything to me and my sisters are my best friends even if sometimes we disagree,” Gisele told People in May 2023.
She added, “Family is what gives us our foundation, they are our greatest teachers, and they help us become who we are.”
Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about Gisele’s siblings and parents.
Patricia Bündchen
Patricia, Gisele’s twin sister , was born five minutes after the model on July 20, 1980.
“How lucky I was to be born with my twin and best friend!” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel wrote in a July 2020 Instagram post celebrating their joint 40th birthday.
But the two are more than just besties as Patricia – who goes by the nickname Pati – also serves as Gisele’s longtime manager and oversees her business endeavors in Brazil.
The twins celebrated their 44th birthday in July 2024 with a tropical dinner and plenty of birthday cake.
“Grateful to be celebrating one more year around the sun with my super sis,” Gisele wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “Thank you everyone for all the love and birthday wishes. Feeling blessed to be surrounded by so much love. Looking forward to what is ahead🙏❤️.”
Rafaela is the youngest out of all five of the Bündchen sisters.
Like most of their other siblings, Rafaela has also been involved in Gisele’s career by serving as the designer of her official website.
Bündchen shared a rare photo with all five of her sisters on social media in January 2024, captioning the post, “Reconnecting with the essential ❤️ sending love and wishing a happy and blessed 2024 to all!”
Valdir and Vânia Bündchen
Bündchen patriarch Valdir is a sociologist and writer while late matriarch Vânia worked as a bank clerk pensioner.
“Beloved mom, It hurts to know that I won’t be able to hug you anymore, but I know that you will always be watching over us,” her message read. “You were an angel on earth, always helping everyone around you. I am so grateful to be your daughter and to have learned from you.”
“When I was growing up in Horizontina, [Brazil], there were six of us girls at the dinner table, six voices rising up to talk or laugh or disagree at once,” she wrote.
“One day, my dad made a rule: if one of us had something to say, we needed to raise our hand.”
