The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been making appearances across some of the biggest music festivals this summer including choosing their side in the ongoing Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef during their mid-July set in Toronto. In addition to bringing their hit songs to live audiences across North America, the band is celebrating a major milestone in their career: the 25th anniversary of their 1999 album Californication.
Fans can commemorate the moment alongside the “Scar Tissue” rock stars through a limited-edition capsule collection released in collaboration with the Parks Project. Inspired by the album cover art, the exclusive merch serves as a love letter to the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ iconic album while also supporting California’s Yosemite National Park.
Every color and graphic is representative of the band and the breathtaking park, which adorns three limited-edition pieces of merch: a T-shirt, crewneck and snuggly blanket. Prices range from $45-$120 and are available to shop online now.
Keep reading to stock up on the exclusive capsule collection before it sells out.
Red Hot Chili Peppers x Parks Project Yosemite Tee
Ditch the classic white T-shirt look and add this Red Hot Chili Pepper-themed graphic tee to your outfit rotation. It comes with bright designs inspired by Californication ‘s music video as well as Glacier point, a native wasp and a native butterfly to Yosemite National Park.
Red Hot Chili Peppers x Parks Project Yosemite Crew
Layer up with this crewneck that combines the bold shades of the Californication album art as well as Yosemite’s wildlife. While the exterior shows off statement-making graphics, the interior is designed with a mix of cotton and polyester materials to keep you cozy when the temps drop.
Red Hot Chili Peppers x Parks Project Yosemite Blanket
Curl up with with this Red Hot Chili Peppers x Yosemite blanket featuring a vibrant graphic inspired by the music video for “Californication.” It’s created with a mix of recycled cotton and regular cotton in a 60″ x 60″ size that’s perfect for sprawling out at the park or your couch.
Fans have already been expressing their excitement over the collaboration — especially after the Red Hot Chili Peppers made the announcement on their official Instagram on Monday (July 22).
“Snagged a T-shirt! Awesome collab with a great organization — please do more stuff like this!” one commenter praised.
That’s not all that the rock band has in store for fans either as frontman Anthony Kiedis’ 2004 autobiography has been optioned by Universal Pictures for a movie.
