Massachusetts Democrats are joining the chorus of politicians endorsing Kamala Harris for president.

Why it matters: The vice president is seeing a groundswell of support from the Democratic establishment nationwide, dampening calls for a competitive convention.

The latest: The Massachusetts Democratic Party said Monday night its delegates overwhelmingly voted to endorse Harris.

    • The party is sending 116 delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago next month.

Gov. Maura Healey, one of those delegates, endorsed Harris Monday afternoon.

    • She said Harris will reduce costs, create jobs and "make sure every woman has access to the health care she needs."
    • Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll also backed Harris.
    • Their endorsements came after much of the Massachusetts congressional delegation and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi backed Harris.

By the numbers: Harris' campaign raised a record $81 million in the first 24 hours of her candidacy.

Catch up quick: Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Ed Markey and Rep. Ayanna Presley, all delegates, were among the first Massachusetts politicians to endorse Harris, after President Biden withdrew from the race Sunday.

🗳 Here are some of the better-known delegates backing Harris:

    • U.S. Rep. Katherine Clark
    • U.S. Rep. Jake Auchincloss
    • U.S. Rep. Bill Keating
    • U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern
    • U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton
    • U.S. Rep. Lori Trahan
    • Attorney General Andrea Campbell
    • Boston Mayor Michelle Wu
    • Massachusetts House Ways and Means chairman Aaron Michlewitz
    • Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka
    • Massachusetts Rep. Christopher Worrell
    • Boston City Councilor Enrique Pepén
    • Boston City Councilor Brian Worrell
    • MassDems Chair Steve Kerrigan
