Man stabbed during fight near Boylston Street in Pittsfield

PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A Pittsfield man is expected to recover after being stabbed multiple times on Saturday night.

According to Pittsfield Police Lieutenant John Soules, at around 9:42 p.m. officers were called to the area of Boylston Street for a reported fight in progress. Upon arrival, officers found a 29-year-old Pittsfield man suffering from several lacerations.

The victim was brought to Berkshire Medical Center for his injuries and is expected to survive. If you have any information about the incident, you are asked to contact Pittsfield Police Detective Goodrich at 413-448-9705 extension 554.
