    Slash Mourns 'Devastating Loss' of 25-Year-Old Stepdaughter

    Lucy-Bleu Knight , the stepdaughter of Guns N' Roses lead guitarist Slash , has died at 25. Knight was the daughter of Slash's longtime partner, Meegan Hodges .

    On Sunday, July 21, Slash took to Instagram to confirm the sad news.

    "Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight , stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knights and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight , stepsister of London and Cash Hudson , passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024," the message began.

    The post remembered Lucy-Bleu as an "incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul."

    To conclude the death announcement, Slash noted, "The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss."

    In the comments, bandmates and fans reacted to the news and shared their well-wishes.

    Slash’s bandmate Michael Andrew “Duff” McKagan 's wife, Susan Holmes McKagan , wrote, "Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and condolences. love you all so much 💔."

    Melissa Reese , another Guns N' Roses band member, added, "There are no words. Sending absolutely all of my love and hugs and condolences and support to you guys."

    Another follower commented, "Words cannot express our deepest sympathy and condolences. love you all so much💔."

    Meanwhile, someone else shared, "I'm really sorry for your loss boss, all prayers for you, meegan and your family ♥️."

    One day before he announced Lucy-Bleu's death, Slash canceled four shows of his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour. His Instagram post about the cancelations noted that performances will continue on July 28.
