SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — As road work throughout the state keeps on trucking, a Spartanburg County intersection will close for the next two months.

According to the county, the work is a part of the Seay Road widening project. The intersection at Seay Road and Clark Road will close Monday, July 29 for the construction of a roundabout.

The widening project spans from Highway 9 to Hanging Rock Road.

County officials said that the closure should last between 8 to 10 weeks.

Upon completion, the intersection will reopen to drivers, and the widening work will begin.
